Ryan Solski's work is mostly illustrative and encompasses themes which have roots in Dreams. He is a graduate from Ontario College of Art & Design... where he received a Diploma for Integrated Media (Fine Arts) in 2005. At this point Ryan has participated in 59 Gallery Shows... currently exhibiting illustrations from his Artist Books in full colour. These works are full colour digitally coloured and water coloured paintings demonstrating his painting style and often whimsical approach to his fun and friendly world.
He's working his third year on a full colour hardcover graphic novel. During the duration of this project the focus in galleries is showing illustrations from the book before publication for sale, promotion, showcase, & fun. After the book is complete he is planning something similar although possibly with different themes - Maybe a sequel or the second volume?
The graphic novel is available online previous to full publishing as Ryan's first fully plotted & coloured online comic/illustrated work. Short fiction works are also available. These works harken back to Ryan's earlier internet works of the short comic, and custom creation - Its more about style with substance!
